What is hospice care?

Hospice provides care for patients with life limiting illness in the patient's home. It focuses on the social, spiritual, and physical needs of the patient and their family.

The goal of hospice is to provide support and care for individuals facing the end of life. It is the vision of hospice care to ensure that the patient may live at home and be as comfortable as possible.

These services are provided to individuals with a terminal diagnosis who are seeking pain management, symptom control, and comfort care.

Choosing hospice is NOT giving up hope, but redefining it. There may no longer be a possibility of curing the illness, so patients and families redirect their hope into spending time with those they love, and finding peace and comfort.

Focusing on living, Hope Hospice enhances the quality of life and dignity of patients.
